Behind every successful project lies a team of dedicated individuals whose passion, expertise, and commitment drive innovation and excellence. Here at BrandShelter, we believe in the power of collaboration and the unique stories that shape our team members’ journeys.

This is why we want to introduce the amazing people behind everything that happens at BrandShelter: our Meet the Team series aims to shine a spotlight on the diverse talents, experiences, and personalities that make our team truly exceptional. Through this series, you’ll have the opportunity to get to know the faces behind the work, learn about their roles, passions, and aspirations, and discover what makes them tick.

Today, we are pleased to introduce our valued customer onboarding & training manager, Tiphaine.

  1. Hi, Tiphaine! Thank you so much for taking the time to introduce yourself to our lovely readers and clients. First of all, can you tell us a little about yourself?

Hi, I’m Tiphaine and I am Customer Onboarding and Training Manager at BrandShelter. Languages have always been at the heart of my journey. I studied English and Chinese before spending years in transcription, translation, and project management. That background taught me how to listen carefully, make sense of complex things, and explain them in a clear and useful way. Today, at BrandShelter, I enjoy guiding customers through technical topics so they feel approachable instead of overwhelming. I’m naturally curious, and I love digging into a problem until I find that missing piece that helps move things forward. Outside of work, you’ll find me boxing on Thursdays, experimenting with cocktails, or chasing after my toddler’s latest adventure. I like being the person who helps untangle things, makes them simpler, and gets people moving again.

  1. How long have you been with BrandShelter and what do you enjoy most about it?

I’ve been with BrandShelter since 2021.

I started in Customer Care & Operations, and in 2025 I moved into my current role as Customer Onboarding & Training Manager. What I enjoy most is the variety. One day I’m creating training videos, another I’m improving processes or solving a customer’s challenge. I also really value the trust and autonomy. It keeps things fresh and encourages constant learning.

  1. How did you get into the domain industry and what is your area of expertise?

Honestly, by chance. After moving from Montpellier to Marseille, I applied for a role at BrandShelter. With a background in languages and project management, the domain stuff was all new. I gravitated toward making technical ideas clear and approachable for customers.

  1. What is one trend or development in the domain industry that excites you the most right now and why?

The rapid evolution of online security and automation. With AI changing so fast, security standards and new threats keep evolving. I like turning that complexity into something customers can actually understand and use without needing a technical background.

  1. What’s something that, in our opinion, sets BrandShelter apart from other industry players?

For me, it’s the people there’s a real culture of sharing knowledge and working together to solve tricky cases. That mix of trust, collaboration, and autonomy really stands out

  1. What do you think is the biggest challenge for businesses with an online appearance today and how does BrandShelter help overcome this?

Keeping pace with a constantly changing digital environment. For many businesses, domains, security, and brand protection can feel overwhelming. BrandShelter helps by simplifying the complex, guiding customers through practical solutions so they can focus on their own business.

  1. What advice would you give to someone wanting to start their journey with an online brand protection service?

Don’t wait for a problem. Start early, ask questions, and look for a partner who helps you understand your online presence, not just manage it for you.

  1. What is currently your favourite TLD and why?

Rather than a single favourite, I’d say country-code TLDs. They’re all a bit different, which keeps things interesting. And personally, .fr gets a little nod from me. But I’m also curious about emerging extensions, like . HERE and the upcoming .EAT extension, which playfully fits the idea of being here and loving food. Sometimes the story behind a TLD makes it more fun than the TLD itself.

  1. What are one to two key traits or skills that you believe are essential to succeed as a business online?

Curiosity and adaptability. The online space shifts quickly, and if you stay curious and adaptable, you can keep learning and adjusting instead of freezing up.

  1. Can you share one interesting fact about yourself that people may not know?

For years, I rebuilt and customised bicycles. I gave them all a name—Billy, César, Cherry Bomb, Polo. Naming them became part of the project itself. Looking back, I think it reflects how I like to work: taking things apart, understanding how they fit together, and building something functional and maybe even a bit personal. It’s the same curiosity I bring to learning new tools or explaining complex topics in simpler terms.

  1. Where can people find you?

The best place is LinkedIn.

Thank you for reading and meeting our team!
